Natural resources
Dolinsky district is rich in mineral resources, including oil and gas, underground fresh and mineral waters, brines, as well as raw materials for construction materials.
The basis of mineral resources extracted in the area of oil and gas up. The main deposits are in late, the final stage of development, characterized by a gradual decrease in mining production. Initial recoverable reserves of deposits amounted to 57.0 mln. Tons of oil, according to estimates remain about 8 mln. Tons.
The area also found more than 10 displays of various types of mineral water. Among the most common water without specific components and properties, sodium chloride brine water of the "NAFTUSYA" - found 6 water destination. The most famous is Novo Mizunske field, whose waters used for therapeutic purposes, and also for industrial bottling called "Goryanka."

Hydrography area forms a group Dniester River basin: Candle, planted, Luzhanka al., Whose highly branched tops begin on the northern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains, at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level. Industry
The industrial potential of the area consists of 9 major industry employing 3,325 people and annual industrial output of about 2500.0 mln. UAH.
The main branch of industry serving oil and gas industry - a very important element that largely determines its socio-economic and cultural status, improves the livelihoods of local people.
Analysis of the oil production in the area also points to poor dynamics of hydrocarbon production. Thus, since 1990, the volume of oil OGPD "Dolynanaftogas" dropped by half, and for January-December 2015 on OGPD "Dolynanaftogas" oil production (including gas condensate) fell to the corresponding period of the previous year by 9.0 percent., And gas - by 1.0 percent.
Leading industry that generates nearly half of industrial output processing industry is the production of wood and wood products.
This industry is one of the first and reached stabilization in recent years increasing its commodity products. The development of the wood industry the area is in the direction of processing wood for timber production and wood-fiber plates.
Ltd. "Uniplyt" is the only enterprise in Ukraine producing wood-fiber board wet and a major supplier of these products both in Ukraine and abroad. Annual output plate reached almost 18.0 million square meters.
Investment program LLC "Milvud" in 2015, provided to commission two dryers and complete construction of the plant manufacturing laminated, fused timber KVH and BSH.
The main strategic direction of manufacture of wood and products of it is to create a modern high-tech production of deeper wood for the economy and the domestic and foreign markets in forest products, competitive products on wooden base.
Light Industry Enterprises Ltd. "Trust" and LLC "Working" have great potential in production of garments. The output toll basis under contracts with foreign customers makes it possible to maintain production and human resources businesses, create new jobs and to master advanced technological processes.
Sales volume data of enterprises in January-December 2015 compared to the year 2014 grew by 25.0 percent.
In 2007 began construction of a new garment factory LLC "Hroklin-Valley" Tailoring upper seats for cars financed by Polish investors.
Prospects for the expansion of production is high quality goods for their sale on the domestic and foreign markets.
Agriculture
The main owners and land users are households. At the end of 2015, they focused 18,9 hectares of agricultural land, including 11.6 hectares of arable land.

In 2015, in the area there are 62 educational institutions. Among them, 4 secondary schools of a new type: Dolinsky gymnasium №1, specialized boarding school, natural and mathematical lyceum, specialized school №6, 16 secondary schools of I-III, 9 secondary schools and II degrees, 6 degrees and secondary schools 10 educational complexes "general education - pre-school", 10 pre-schools, 3 extracurricular institutions (House of children and Youth, young technicians, children and youth sport school), inter-school educational-industrial complex, night school II-III. 1.7. Tourism
The district is located 18 operating facilities of tourist and recreational areas that can simultaneously accept 860 people. There are 15 green tourism estates with 200 seats. Three estates assigned baseline and one assigned Manor 3 category.
In order to create an enabling environment, adequate infrastructure and new tourist routes for the development of promising thematic areas of tourism, including adventure, cultural, educational, sports and recreation, and for the purpose of increasing the flow of tourists to the area organized the annual festival.

Prerequisites, that contribute to the project implementation |
Shyrkovets swamp is a natural hydrologic landmark with the national significance. It is situated in Dolyna District of Ivano-Frankivsk Region between Stariy Mizun and Noviy Mizun villages, within the territory of Vigoda Hollow at a height of 500-550m about the sea level. The protected area is 12ha. The swamp, which is registered by the international organization “Telma”, is well preserved as there was no draining on the surrounding territories. Bushy pines with umbrella-shaped crown create an interesting landscape that is unusual for the Carpathians. As there are no equals for Shyrkovets swamp in the Carpathians, this project is important and its implementation will provide an opportunity to protect the natural area and attract tourists. Also, it will perform an informational and educational function as well (flora and fauna research, nature- and environment- oriented activities, etc.) |

Creation of new reasons to visit is the main factor in attracting tourists. “The Carpathian Tram” is a tourist route that is located alongside Shyrkovets swamp. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the district. |
